NO DOUBLE DIPPING
The same way you don't want to eat the chip dip after someone dips the same chip back in, you most certainly don't want your Esthetician waxing you with the same wax she dipped someone else's stick in several times to remove hair from their unmentionables. #yikes
A few years ago I went by a wax studio I was supposed to start working at, to have the lead esthetician "show me" how to handle the wax used there.
When confronting her about her #DoubleDipping she said the brand of wax was okay to double dip and "the stick was not actually touching the skin."
I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU, or what type of wax they're using, UNLESS they are using a one-use disposable cup, or the bottom of the wax can that will be discarded, your #esthetician or #cosmetologist should NOT be double dipping the same stick into the wax...double dipping is a NO NO... PERIOD!
It's #UNSANITARY The logic of that was absolutely #STUPID to say the least, and needless to say, I never started work there.
It's unfortunate that some, estheticians are lazy, and don't even care enough about themselves to practice #UniversalPrecautions and some businesses owners not only know nothing about esthetics, and don't take the time to familiarize themselves with laws and ethics, but they're so busy trying to save money that they don't care about sanitation.
Sanitary practices are not only ethical, and legal matters, but are necessary in order to prevent spread of diseases. If your esthetician/cosmetologist does not care enough to exercise sanitary methods to keep themselves safe, they certainly aren't going to care about you, and that is much worse than being unprofessional.
*IF YOUR WAX SPECIALIST (#esthetician or #cosmetologist ) DOUBLE DIPS THE WAX, YOU SHOULD STOP GOING THERE AND REPORT THEM TO THE STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY.
