SCRUB BARS (body Scrubs for ingrown hairs, and hyperpigmentation (dark spots))
Exfoliation is the removal of dry/dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and is one of the most important aspects of your home skincare routine for face and body. Exfoliation not only helps many skin problems, it also increases blood circulation, which in turn helps you to achieve healthy and glowing skin; it also helps skincare products to penetrate more deeply into the skin, causing them to be more effective.
Most exfoliates will do the above, as well as remove dead skin to release ingrown hairs, but not all will treat the affected area, and certainly not all will treat dark spots.
Metamorphosis’ Shea Butter based Scrub Bars with rice & adzuki beans offer non abrasive, smoothing, and moisturizing exfoliation, We offer 2 different Body Scrubs:
***DO NOT USE ON FACE MORE THAN 2xs PER WEEK***
Turmeric & Ginger Scrub Bar
Years of shaving underarms, legs and pubic areas causes darkened skin...using our scrub daily will help your skin to return to its natural color.
Turmeric is anti-inflammitory and antioxidant, and is known to reduce scarring and bring out the skin's natural glow.
Ginger has major anti-aging benefits. It contains around 40 antioxidant properties that prevent free radical damage and protect against aging; it also evens skin-tone, and improves elasticity.
Please Release Me, Ingrown hair Scrub Bar
Anything that causes the hair to be broken off unevenly with a sharp tip can cause ingrown hairs; but ingrown hairs are also greatly caused by lack of natural exfoliation of the skin.
When dead skin covers the hair follicles hairs are unable to grow out freely, and the hair turns back into the follicle and grows down. We all know how painful and itchy that can be.
With ingredients like tea tree oil, and Willowbark, our exfoliate has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties that soothe irritation, combat bacteria, and prevent infection ***WILLOWBARK MAY IRRITATE SOMEONE WITH ALLERGIES TO ASPRIN.
***not to be used on the face more than 2 times/week.
(Facial skin is more sensitive and cannot withstand daily exfoliation. If you have oily or acneic skin you can use 3 times per week, for normal skin use no more than twice per week, and for excessively dry skin, only use once.)
